“Never was a cornflake girl “ is a one of a kind vintage/retro patent leather clutch, that is a visual montage for the lyrically inclined, perfect for any Tori Amos fanatic. The bag's artistic design is a tribute to some of her most iconic songs, with each carefully crafted detail representing elements of her music and lyrics. Golden toned bullet casings across the forehead of our feature creature represent "the man with the golden gun" lyrics from "never was a cornflake girl," surrounded by giant lilies, assuming the role of Lily, who was "dancing on the table" along with the more obvious taxi from her beloved tune, "taxi ride". A giant bee is featured in homage to Tori's album "The Beekeeper". Hidden behind it all, we find a glimpse at piano keys, I vital role in her music and placed in purposeful juxtaposition as a visual play on words for the lyrics "where'd you put the keys girl"?, revisiting once more lyrics from the title of this piece.
The clutch features an unusually off centered side closure and is beautifully lined with a classic retro patterned fabric, adding to its vintage charm.
